SUP on Türlersee
Türlersee is a beautiful nature reserve and offers ideal conditions for stand-up paddling. To protect this sensitive ecosystem and ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors, there are special rules and facilities for SUP activities.

One-Day SUP Permit
For SUPs brought to the lake, a ticket must be purchased according to the fee regulations of the municipality of Hausen am Albis.
SUP Cleaning Station and Rules
To protect Türlersee from invasive species such as the quagga mussel, all SUPs brought to the lake must be cleaned before being put into the water.
SUP Station - Mandatory Use for All SUPs
SUPs brought to the Türlersee beach must be cleaned at the specially equipped SUP station. The station is clearly signposted and easy to find.
At the SUP station, the following activities must take place:
- Cleaning of SUPs before entering the water
- Inflating of inflatable SUPs (only allowed here)
- Deflating after use (prohibited on the beach area)
- Storage when not in use
SUP Parking
For short trips ashore, the SUP can be parked at the special SUP parking area at Horn by the lake. SUPs must not be stored on the main beach area as they take up space needed by other visitors.
SUP Rental
If you don't own a SUP, you can rent a stand-up paddle board on site by SUP Natural Experience. The rental station is located directly at the beach and offers various boards for beginners and advanced paddlers.

SUP, or Stand Up Paddling, is enjoying a growing fan base. This full-body workout is easy to learn, a lot of fun, and is usually associated with a beautiful nature experience. In Switzerland, the SUP population has increased significantly in the last five years. This favors the rental and accessory business on the one hand, and on the other hand, it requires new storage and parking spaces for this sports equipment, similar to what we have observed with the steadily increasing number of ski racks in front of ski lodges. A year-round SUP garage and a mobile SUP trailer ensure order on the beach area. Contact me for information on available seasonal parking spaces and the current waiting list.
